*To all athletes hoping to compete overseas
Athletes who wish to participate in the World Championships must apply for entry after receiving approval from their national team. This is a system to maintain the standard of the tournament and keep the level of participating athletes constant.
A suitability assessment will be conducted to determine whether the player is at a level suitable for the world tournament (participation in domestic tournaments is required), and players who are deemed and approved to be able to participate in overseas matches will be registered as Japanese national team players.
Please note that only these Japanese national team players can enter the competition.
