Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct outlines a set of guidelines regarding the standards of behaviour expected from everyone involved with WFF.
This applies to all competitors, coaches, support personnel, officials, administrators, members, spectators, volunteers, or members of the public involved in WFF activities. All must demonstrate the principles of integrity, respect, responsibility, fairness, and safety in relation to bodybuilding, fitness, training, and sanctioned activities by practicing the following:
Integrity
-Be honest, fair, respectful, trustworthy, reliable, open and transparent in your dealings with others
- Avoid any actual or perceived conflicts of interest. - Strive to earn and maintain a high level of community trust and goodwill.
- Not to engage in or encourage the use of any prohibited performance-enhancing substances or methods, or the possession or use of illegal drugs
Not to participate in or encourage any conduct that may jeopardize the integrity of the WFF, including illegal or other corrupt activities
Respect
- Treat all people involved with kindness, objectivity, and courtesy, with due respect for their rights, dignity, and worth. - Do not discriminate, harass, bully, abuse, child abuse, intimidate, victimize, or defame anyone on the basis of age, race, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion.
- Recognize and value all contributions to the WFF, including volunteers, coaches, officials and administrators who give up their valuable time to make the competition possible.
Responsibility
-Consider and accept the consequences of your actions and decisions.
- Lead by example by demonstrating self-control, respect, consideration and diligence with all involved in WFF. Adhere to the standards of adult behavior when interacting with persons under the age of 18.
Understand the possible consequences of violating the Code of Conduct and report any possible violations to WFF International immediately.
Fairness
- Understand and comply with the rules and spirit of the WFF
-Be informed, consistent, fair, impartial and reasonable in your dealings with others
- Having "good sportsmanship" by encouraging and celebrating respect rather than winning at all costs
- Providing a "fair opportunity" for people of all abilities to participate in bodybuilding and fitness and reach their full potential
Safety
- Providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment that prioritizes the health, welfare and wellbeing of participants above all else
taking all reasonable steps to ensure that equipment, facilities, events and programs meet health and safety standards and are appropriate for the age and ability of participants
-Be aware of and uphold policies and practices regarding injury management
- Show consideration and care for others who may be ill or injured, and immediately report any safety hazards to the appropriate authorities.
